Maisie Schloss, born in Chicago, started her fashion career at Kanye West’s Yeezy after graduating from Parsons School of Design in 2013, rising through the ranks from an ‘errand runner’ to head womenswear designer.

Impressed by her personal style, West offered her financial backing to start her own label in 2018, leading to the launch of Maisie Wilen in late 2019. Since then, the label has developed a cult following among celebrities, with Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian-West, Camila Mendes, Megan Rapinoe, Bella Hadid, Winnie Harlow and Jorja Smith all seen in her rhythmic gymnastic-inspired pieces. Named one of Forbes's 30 Under 30 last year, Schloss’s work has been featured in British Vogue, W Magazine and GQ, and the designer looks set to become a fixture on the NYFW schedule after taking part during the last two seasons.
